Robert E. Howard single-handedly developed the genre of sword and sorcery in a spectacular career that lasted only twelve years until his untimely end. Howard’s first thirteen Conan stories are collected in this volume, which is lavishly illustrated by artist Mark Schultz. They are presented in their original versions–in some cases for the first time in more than seventy years–and in the sequence in which Howard wrote them.
