The Go-Giver tells the tale of Joe, an aspirational young guy who longs for achievement. Joe is a real go-getter, but he occasionally feels that his ambitions are getting further away the harder and faster he works. He seeks assistance from the famed adviser known to many followers as the Chairman, the enigmatic Pindar, one day in a desperate attempt to close a crucial sale at the conclusion of a poor quarter. Over the course of the following week, Pindar introduces Joe to a number of accomplished “go-givers” who show him how to become more receptive to the power of giving. Joe discovers that shifting his attention from gaining to giving – prioritising others’ needs and consistently improving their lives – ultimately results in surprising.
