The Metamorphosis

Franz Kafka wrote a novella titled The Metamorphosis, which was initially released in 1915. It is studied in colleges and universities all throughout the Western world and has been called one of the 20th century’s most important pieces of literature. Gregor Samsa, a travelling salesman, awakens to find himself transformed (metamorphosed) into a huge, monstrous insect-like creature at the start of the novel.
