Ursula K. Le Guin is famous for her minimalist, exquisite style, complex characters, and various worlds. She has won numerous literary awards, including the National Book Award, the Kafka Award, and the Pushcart Prize. A short story called “The Ones Who Walk Away from Omelas” was first included in the anthology The Wind’s Twelve Quarters.
